If you plan on listing your home this fall, I have three quick tips to share that will help you prepare it for showings. First, make it smell like fall. It’s autumn, which means aromas like apple cinnamon and pumpkin spice latte are in the air. Whether you light a scented candle or bake some cookies, just make sure your home has a fresh, fall smell. Second, buy a nice, clean, new mat for the front door. For example, you can pick something that says “Welcome,” or something that features fall colors. Lastly, make your home look bright and decorated overall. Soon enough, leaves will start falling off trees and the grass will start turning brown, so turn on all the lights and fans in your home and make everything feel airy and bright.
